INTRODUCTION :
Imagine that you are a historian wanting to find out about how agriculture changed in a remote tribal area after independence . List the different ways in which you would find information on this :
(i) Interviews: I can conduct interviews orally with the people who lived before independence so that I can get first hand information .
(ii) Study of existing forms ,organizational documents and reports: Old records , journals, reports etc will provide data pertaining to tribal area collected and recorded at that time .
(iii) Administrative records and research papers: Papers written by different scholars can be used and records related to agriculture in tribal areas conducted by different agencies can be used .
